Hello my lovelies!
I'd just like to apologise for being the world worst blogger and I hope you can all accept my apology and continue to read the blog I have finally decided to write! I also apologise for the lack of photo's as my phone is being a pile of rubbish and won't upload the photo's I have taken, what a pile of poop! Anyway as the monthly favourites videos have started to float about on youtube, I decided I'd do a 'February Favourites' blog!I thought I'd mix the favourites together to create this blogpost! There'll be a few make up favourites, music favourites and then a few random favourites! Here goes chummys!

Benefit Rockateur Blush
This is so preeeeetty! I literally spent ages deciding if I was going to buy this product and then I was like, whatever it's pretty! I'd say it was a very soft, bronzy-blush in a rose-gold colour. It's literally so shimmery and pigmented and lasts a good eight hours on the skin when used with primer. I have relatively fair skin, and I think it looks good, however on darker skin tones I think it could look a little metallic. Rockateur weights less than other Benefit Blush Boxes as it is a soft powder that would crack in a deep pan. I do think maybe benefit should've put the price down just a little to reflect the weight, however I do genuinely adore this blush and wouldn't want it cracking. Often, contour isn't needed with this blush, just because it is so bronzing itself. I have applied it as a rosy hued highlighter when I do contour. The blush looked lovely when teamed with Benefit Hoola.I love this blush, and I think it'll be the first of many Benefit Blushes I purchase!

Benefit Boi-ing
I got this as I received a mini sample size in a christmas set and loved it! I have it in the shade 01 as I am super pale and I love it. I am not usually overly spotty (touch wood), but when I do get a spot this concealer covers it up with no problems. In winter, my cheeks go incredibly red, and this concealer does an excellent job to cover up red patches. If too much is applied, it can look cakey, and does begin to wear off if it isn't teamed with primer. The concealer itself is anti-bacterial so helps eliminate spots as well as covering them. It's a medium coverage, but definitely works when teamed with a good foundation, or no foundation at all depending on what sort of coverage you are aiming for. It is expensive for something you replace as easy as concealer and application is unhygienic(often the only way to get the product out the pan is by using your fingers). Also, with it being winter my skin is peeling, mainly on my nose, and the concealer does tend to latch onto flakes. All that said, I really like the formula, the coverage, and the way your skin feels after using the concealer so it is highly likely I will repurchase.

Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara
I'm not entirely sure if this is the exact name, but I know it's something along the lines of Lancome Hypnose Star! Anyway, I received two of these mascaras as a gift from my Aunt for my birthday/christmas (we haven't seen her in a very long time), and at first I was a little confused. I know my mum is a massive fan of this mascara, but I just thought, hm, why two mascaras? I am still baffled as to why Lancome would make a set with two of the same mascara and nothing else in it, BUT, they are absolutely amazing. For one I love it because it's glittery and I mean who doesn't love glitter, and it makes my eyelashes super duper long! As it was a gift I'm not entirely sure of the price but I think single Lancome mascaras are about £22, so expensive, but definitely worth it!!
Chubby Sticks
A few brands have started selling the chubby sticks, and this week I've picked up three from three different brands.
Revlon Colourburst Laquer Balm - Demure // £7.99
Bourjois Colour Boost - 04 Peach on the Beach £7.99
Clinique Chubby Stick Instense - 06 Roomiest Rose // £17
Obviously, as they're different brands there are differences in formula and finish, however they're essentially the same thing, a sheer lip colour applied like a balm. The bourjois one is my favourite of the 3, as I like the colour most, however they're all lovely and I will wear them frequently.
Music
My three favourites bands of all time are Little Comets, The Smiths and Bombay Bicycle Club, and the latter of the three have just released a new album which is gorgeous! I suggest you listen to So Long, See You Tomorrow, asap!! Two best tracks are Luna and Carry Me in my opinion! I am also still loving Jennifer and other short stories, an EP by Little Comets, and their newest EP 'The Gentle EP'!
Also the wicked soundtack as I'm off to see Wicked next month!! How exciting!
Randoms
The Disney Store- Spend far too much money and time in here recently, but it just reminds me of being little and everythings so cute and adorable. I'm a young leader at a rainbow unit in my community, and they all talk to me about disney and it's adorable!
Blood Brothers - I went on a school trip to see it very recently, and it was absolutely fabulous, some of the songs are incredbily and the narrator was very dishy! It was amazing, and if you have the opportunity, go and see it and listen to the songs!
Lolita // Ben Brooks - This book is one of my new favourites, this is the second time I've read it and I adore it even more! It is a little perculiar, but very good and very different to anything I've ever read!
